Mini lift or s-lift
Mini lift is a surgical procedure that we successfully perform on patients with excess skin in the area of midface and lower part of the face, if their skin in the neck area is still in good shape. The patients undergoing this surgery are mostly younger or middle aged people, who are not happy with the state of their skin on the midfacial area.
In such cases, there is no need to tighten the skin of the neck and thus, the full face lift procedure is unnecessary. Tightening the skin of the middle part of the face is enough. This is minor procedure, performed under enhanced local anaesthetic.
While giving maximal aesthetic effect, this procedure carries minimal surgical trauma, what significantly diminishes the risk of possible complications and makes the recovery much easier and faster.
The scar is hidden in the crease in front of the ear and in hair. With aesthetic surgery principles always on our mind, we pay special attention to details, and hence, the scar is almost invisible after recovery period.
Just as with full face lift, with mini lift or s-lift, we can combine the following cosmetic surgery procedures: upper and lower eyelid surgery, dermabrasion of upper and lower lip, forehead lift, etc.
With mini face lift, we can also use the method of deep lifting, which comprises not only the tightening of the skin, but also the deep facial structures – i.e. muscles of the face. This way, we achieve a longer lasting, more complete effect of the mini lifting.
