Useful instructions for our patients
- The patient has to do a blood test prior to labioplasty. If necessary, the blood tests can be done in arrangement with us, the day before the surgery or even on the day of the surgery.
- Labioplasty is performed in local anesthesia under sedation. The patient is asleep during the operation and the procedure is completely painless.
- The patient stays in the clinic for 24 hours: 1 hour for the preoperative preparation, 1 hour for the procedure and the rest of the time is for resting after the operation. We discharge the patient after that for recovery and postoperative care somewhere in Zagreb
- REQUIRED STAY IN ZAGREB that we recommend after labioplasty is at least two to three days, with a recommended check up on the seventh day following the surgery, so we can monitor the full recovery in our clinic. Because of this we advise the patients to stay in Zagreb for the full week. This period is of crucial importance for the result of the operation. To make things easier for our patients from abroad, we have arranged that the preoperative examination and surgery can be done in the same day (during the same visit in Zagreb). For patients that come outside Croatia it’s important to know that the initial consultation can be held via telephone or the Internet. During the initial consultation we asses if the patient is suitable for this kind of procedure or not. We have the final, preoperative consultation when the patient arrives in Zagreb and during which we define all the details of this procedure and start the surgery with the patient’s consent.
- We can arrange TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION for all our patients that come outside of Zagreb and Croatia!! We are here to assist you in every step of the way. Therefore, we can book your flight, and private or hotel accommodation in Zagreb. Our driver will welcome you at Zagreb airport and take you to your accommodation.
- SICK LEAVE after labioplasty lasts a week to ten days.
