BREAST AUGMENTATION
SYMPOSIUM IN BRATISLAVA – MARCH 2010
The capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava, hosted a symposium in March on the topic of aesthetic surgery of the breast and breast augmentation, which attended Dr Dinko Toncic as well. The symposium was held under the organization and sponsorship of the firm Eurosilicone, which is the third firm in the world according to production and sales of silicone implants.
One of the lecturers were Dr Ali Mojallal, plastic surgeon at the university clinic in Lyon and Dallas, Dr Drahomir Palencar and Dr Jozef Fedeleš, plastic surgeons at the university clinic in Bratislava.
The main topic of the symposium was the different possibilities of breast augmentation and breast uplift, the indications for using anatomical or round implants and the indications of placing the implants under the muscle or the gland.
The basic conclusion of the symposium was that using silicon implants, despite the development of new methods and techniques will be the safest and most effective method of breast augmentation for a long time to come.
As to the city of Bratislava alone, it is a mid- European city of rich history, located on the river Danube. The old part of the city is similar to a lot of Croatian cities in many ways and is definitely worth seeing if you are ever nearby.
